Miyazaki is located on 50 kilometres northwest of Sendai and is a mountain village along the Ou-mountains designated in a low inhabitated region. "The organisation of Ceramic Culture village" was proposed to apply historical resource, the Kiligome of remains from Date-han. This plan proposed to organise a new poisition to stimulate the regional communication between urban city and mountain village. Then, design and construction was completed over 5 years.

Without destroying to magnificant views, the varous undulations of the site were considered. The promenade which is spread with the ties (waste timbers) was constructed from Sanpohsoh to the open green space, along the north/south axis. The property is entered through a main gate, the feature of  "eye stop" was given to the slope in front of the face and led to Kirigomeyaki museum with enjoyable views.

In the museum, the intergration of the space was attempted in the well-hall, whilst the permanence and temporary space of the gallery was seperated in the top and bottom floor.  The rectangle windows with skylight at the gable side were designed in order to connect the external views with the interior gallery space. As a snow countermeasure, the retaining wall of a reinforced concrete structure was kept. Copper sheet, roofing tile, plaster, washed gravel  and ceder board construction were used to revitalise the local material and craftsman.
