Pharmacy at Hakujuji is a complex building whose first floor consists of two unit: accommodation and pharmacy. It is located in the Saitama prefecture suburb of Tokyo mega city. There is a garden on the north side of the site; the building is open to the garden.

A waiting room of the first floor has atrium where people could get rid of oppressive feelings. There is an accommodation entrance facing south at the center of the building. Its external wall is built mostly of bare concrete. Part of the interior wall also uses bare concrete as a material. By using the same material both for the external and the interior walls, we intended to link the outer spaces of the building indirectly to the inner space of it.
